Serve as Co-Camp Counselor alongside a Nauticus Educator to prep camp materials, lead campers through camp activities, and chaperone campers while on offsite field trips
Explorer Summer Camps: Work location is camp classroom, Nauticus exhibits, offsite on field trips (i.e. boat tours, beach day)
Shift: 8:30-4:30 M-F
• Dates: July 6 - July 31
Commitment:
• A minimum of 1 week of total service 40 Hours per week
• Must be available the entire week of camp
Additional Information
*Explorer Summer Camps: July 13-20 and July 20-24
*Camp Clean-Up/Inventory: July 27-31
• Volunteers should have an interest in science and/or education. • Experience working with children in a formal or informal setting • Love being outside around, on, or in the water • Be energetic and flexible. • Effective communication skills in a camp environment and the ability to interact positively with children are essential for this position.
