Gleaning is a food recovery strategy that allows produce that is below market grade, but equally nutritious and benefiacialto be harvested and distributed to the food insecure of Martin County instead of being plowed back into the soil.
Gleaners are needed to help harvest corn and potatoes at Agri-gators Farm 13199 SW Martin Hwy, Palm City. All produce goes directly to House of Hope Food Pantry.
