Young Nonprofit Leaders Organization

If so, the Young Nonprofit Leaders Organization will ensure you get the training and support you need to meet those goals while immediately having a positive impact on peoples’ lives. The hands on training you will receive prepares you with valued, transferrable skill-sets that most employers will look for on a resume. Nonprofit Leader.org and its partners specialize in training and growing and we are here to support you in getting where you want to go in your career and life. We provide feedback sessions and thank you luncheons. You have the opportunity to receive a certificate of achievement award to honor and celebrate your accomplishments!

Nonprofit Leader.org runs a shared workspace for non-profits. We create an environment of fun, respect and partnership. Here you will get a chance to work with inspiring organizations, which are already having success and help them grow to the next level. Angels for Angels funds locally-led sustainable projects in East Africa and also puts on fun shows and events here in the Northwest. Redeeming Soles has processed and distributed over 100,000 pairs of shoes to people in need. That’s just a few examples of the kind of organizations you get to partner with in this position. Nonprofit Leader.org also has monthly training workshops and our big yearly event "Youth Empowerment Day" to educate and inspire young people.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of the position:

-Create relationships with donors by writing compelling solicitations and following up with them using salesforce software.

-Research, draft, submit, and manage grant proposals.

-Work with top-notch nonprofit leaders to develop creative new events and campaigns to raise funds. Develop fundraising goals and be a part of the team that brings them to life.

-Travel as necessary to represent your nonprofits at meetings and events. Socialize and network to create future relationships with potential donors and nonprofit partners.

-Assist with data entry/bookkeeping duties. Read and interpret reports and take actions based on your findings.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work independently and manage your workload

- Effective written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with organizing and completing projects

- Ability to be detail oriented

- Willingness to step up and be a leader when needed

Students can expect to:
