We’re digging up native plants and need your help!
Join SSS Staff for a fun day of volunteering - native trees and shrubs are growing on a site maintained by King County, the plants will be installed on King County environmental restoration projects, where they will help reduce erosion, shade streams and provide habitat. Join us in the morning to dig plants for King County, and in the afternoon you’ll have a chance to place the plants into nursery pots, AND salvage plants for yourself or for Sound Salmon Solutions. Participation in this event will also get you invited to an exclusive salvage event later this month! Come join us and help Sound Salmon Solutions and KCD 's habitat projects!

Mission Statement
Connecting you with our watersheds for the future of salmon in the Stillaguamish, Snohomish and Island County watersheds.
Description
In 1990 the Washington State Legislature chartered nonprofit organizations called Regional Fisheries Enhancement Groups (RFEGs) to promote, support, and realize salmon recovery programs and projects in our watersheds. Sound Salmon Solutions (originally known as the Stilly Snohomish Fisheries Enhancement Task Force) is one of 14 RFEGs in the state. For 25 years we have supported salmon recovery in the Stillaguamish, Snohomish, and South Island County watersheds by connecting people to their watersheds through interactive education, hands-on stewardship and state-of-the-art habitat restoration.
