Cheer on our fantastic LA Marathon runners (and everyone else) at the BL:INDSTART tent. Ring bells, wave signs and hand out water to these devoted individuals who are running blindfolded half way and guiding the other as well as raising funds for scholarships for the blind and visually impaired.
We may have some of our blind or visually impaired athletes at our cheer station. Perhaps even a guide dog or two.
Two shifts available - first one sets up and sees the elite runners pass by. Second shift packs up. Hopefully both shifts will see our runners.

Blind Start of America is an award winning 501(c)3 non-profit organization, who's passion is bringing together sighted and visually impaired people through exciting athletic and social events like Dragon Boat Racing and the Blind Mud Run. Our mission is to provide scholarships for blind and visually impaired persons (VIPs) to develop job skills to enable them to ultimately lead lives of independence. These scholarships provide education, training, communication, transportation, adaptive equipment and technology.
Description
We raise awareness and money for visually impaired individuals. We do this by participating in marathons, dragon boat races, and mud runs.
