Hello,
I need a volunteer to help me clean up our email database. I send out email communications almost weekly and there are several bounces and undeliverable addresses that need to be removed/updated due to job changes, misspellings, etc.
Someone with technical skills, attention to detail, can work fairly independantly, and familiarity with database management a plus. We use eTapestry to manage our partners.
Coming in to the office one or two days a week until the current addresses are cleaned up would be great.
Please send credentials and/or resume Kali Horton - khorton@foundationformetrowest.org
Thank you!

About Foundation for MetroWest
Location:
3 Eliot Street, Natick, MA 01760, US
Mission Statement
The Foundation for MetroWest connects philanthropic opportunity with demonstrated need in Metrowest. We promote philanthropy in the region, help donors maximize the impact of their local giving, serve as a resource for local nonprofit organizations and enhance the quality of life for all of our citizens.
Description
Founded in 1995, the Foundation today has over $15M million in assets and has distributed over $9 million in grants to the community. The Foundation for MetroWest offers capacity-building programs, strategic education services, and community forums on philanthropy that help people understand the needs of the region and how best to address them. The Foundation also offers services to financial advisors - working with them as they advise clients on philanthropic planning and investments.
DONOR SERVICES: The Foundation manages philanthropic initiatives for donors and nonprofits while reducing administrative challenges and providing greater tax advantages. The Foundation’s expertise is valuable not only for those who know where they want to give, but also for the many residents who want to give back to their communities but may not have the time or inclination to identify pressing local needs that address personal giving goals.
GRANT-MAKING: The Foundation awards grants and scholarships annually throughout MetroWest. Grant programs are focused on these key areas:
Human Services
Arts and Culture
Environment
Youth Development
The Foundation’s initiatives address community-specific issues as well as challenges affecting the region as a whole. Together, with donors and nonprofits, the Foundation manages philanthropic initiatives that, in part, serve to:
- Support water quality and land-protection activities that conserve and restock the region’s forests, waters and land through funds for organizations such as Charles River Watershed Association, Garden in the Woods and Land's Sake Farm.
- Support the region’s newest residents by working with organizations such as Framingham Adult ESL Plus.
- Provide safe and supportive housing through initiatives such as the SMOC and WATCH.
- Offer students better education and promote public service through scholarship funds.
- Strengthen cultural and arts programs through funds for organizations such as The Discovery Museums, Concord Youth Theater and The Center for the Arts in Natick.
YOUTH IN PHILANTHROPY: The Youth in Philanthropy program - also known as YIP - helps MetroWest students develop the knowledge and skills to become community leaders. Throughout the program, students learn the importance of the nonprofit sector and giving back to their own community. Participants form their own Board of Trustees and have the opportunity to run for leadership positions, fundraise for the program, visit local organizations, and distribute grants.
