Nurses in India are needed to leverage their skills and bring hope and healing to many!

Our IDEAS partner project is now seeking multiple staff nurses who want to provide healthcare in India. This project exists to to help bring freedom and dignity to the Dalits and countless others who are often overlooked and forgotten. The Staff Nursing Program is part of a larger initiative that works alongside 4,000 national workers who seek to bring holistic transformation to 25-50 million people across the nation of India by the year 2025.

The Dalits, also known as the "untouchables" and "outcastes," make up nearly one quarter of India’s 1.2 billion society, with population estimates of 250 million people. The Dalits are history’s longest standing oppressed people group.

Nursing duties could include:

• Alongside Indian doctors and medical professionals, see patients in the Nurses Training Hospital in Hyderabad, as well as in regional clinics as instructed by national healthcare initiative director; care for patients, carry out doctor’s treatment plan, monitor patient progress, assist with administrative paperwork related to patient care, maintain excellent emotional support for patients, demonstrate love and compassion in all medical cases.
• If qualified, join the teaching team for the nurses in training in the training hospital
• If qualified, join the training team for the healthcare initiative’s Community Health Workers working in India’s schools around the nation.
• Join as a practicing nurse with medical camps in village locations as per our partner’s health initiative’s annual medical camp plan.
