The homebound and Seniors Volunteer works with assisted living facilities, senior residential communities, and homebound patrons.Must pass a background check. Must be able to work well with elderly, including some who have physical or cognitive disabilities. Will be a passenger on the sprinterand in district vehicles, may be tasked to drive after a background check.

Public libraries in Idaho seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities’ information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
