We are looking for an individual or group to teach a cooking class to the many individuals with developmental disabilities we serve! If you are a talented cook and love to teach others how to eat healthy, we would love to have you lead a cooking class at our Community Connections Day Program each month. This could be on your schedule, any time Monday-Friday, 10am-2pm. No need to be a professional chef. If you have a passion for helping other learn healthy eating habits, we would love to hear from you!

Mission Statement
Easterseals Midwest is a not-for-profit organization that is committed to helping individuals with developmental disabilities - including autism - learn, live, work and participate in the community. We provide services for over 4,000 individuals and families in Missouri and employ more than 1,600 staff members dedicated to providing individualized support services.
Description
Our History:
In 1964, a small group of determined parents dreamed of a life of greater independence and an accepting community for their children with developmental disabilities. From this vision, Life Skills was established. In 2012, Life Skills and TouchPoint Autism Services merged. In 2013, Life Skills joined Easterseals and its nationwide network of service providers.
What We Do:
Easterseals Midwest provides tailored care through Autism Services, Employment Services, Early Childhood Services, and Community Living Services. To learn more about these programs and how they benefit people living with different abilities, please visit eastersealsmidwest.org.
Your Support Matters:
We need your help to continue providing individualized services to families. As a volunteer and advocate, your support directly impacts service delivery. Together, we're changing the way the world defines and views disability by making profound differences in people's lives every day.
