The purpose of the job is to keep the cat environment clean and safe, to support cat health and intervene before problems develop. Prepare to spend 1-2 hours per shift. You must be at least 16 years old to work without a parent or guardian.
- Clean cages; sweep thoroughly and clean with disinfectant.
- Brush bedding, scoop litter boxes, clean food and water bowls, and give fresh water and appropriate amount of food.
- Give each cat the individual attention it needs.
- Check general health of cat, and take appropriate action as needed.
- Note in book food and water intake, and urine and stool output, and general activity and health of cat.

Animal Outreach Humane Society is a foster home organization that assist the community with stray animals and provides assistance to our local animal control faciltiy, provides state approved humane education programs to our schools and assist the community with feral cats.
