If you are a friendly, compassionate people person who enjoys making a difference, please consider volunteering in the Emergency Department Volunteer Service at Elkhart General Hospital. This volunteer opportunity is responsible for stocking items in patient care areas in the Emergency Department, sitting with patients who need companionship, and so much more! Volunteer shifts are 4 hours long ranging from 7 am - 8:30 pm, 7 days a week. Successful candidates will have the ability to walk, bend, reach, and stand as well as be comfortable interacting with the public. New Volunteer Orientations are held monthly, please contact us for dates. To attend orientation you must RSVP in advance. Dates, room locations, and other information will be given once you RSVP. Thank you!

Description
The Volunteer Services Department at Elkhart General Hospital works in partnership with the Elkhart Hospital Auxiliary, an organization that has provided both funding for special projects at the hospital, and service hour support to patients, visitors, and guests, and those in the surrounding community.
