ORGANIZATION: Reading Hamlets

PLACEMENT PURPOSE

Reading Hamlets is a small 501 (c) literacy nonprofit registered in New York. We are looking for volunteers to join our team, people who are passionate about helping others in need. If you are determined to do good for others, then you need to be part of our new team, forming to work on getting books to kids who need them the most. You can apply even if you don't live in NY or NJ area.

We are looking for:

Project coordinator, content manager, grant writer, social media manager, marketing-related tasks, social media, writing content and graphic design, among other things.


We are looking for CREATIVE, DEDICATED, and INSPIRING people who want to make a difference and FIGHT BACK AGAINST ILLITERACY

Some Characteristics:

  • Passionate about the fight against illiteracy
  • Knowledge and working use of a computer
  • Ability to get along with others, be a team player
  • Help recruit, share the word, and fundraise toward our mission
  • Be creative, committed, energetic, and help bring fresh ideas!
