PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Assist Red Cross in delivering mission to provide relief to victims of disasters and help prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies
OPEN TIME DAYS
Varies depending on activity involvement:
- Oncall for local single family incidents up to 36 hrs per month with flexible scheduling
- Disaster Services Program for large community wide
- events - training and quarterly involvement (i.e. meetings,
- reparedness activities, etc.)
-Other Key Responsibilities - minimal time on as needed⦆

REQUIRED TRAINING- Orientation to American Red Cross
- Disaster Services: an Overview
- Foundations of Disaster Mental Health
- Psychological First Aid
- FEMA Training: IS100 and IS700
