PLACEMENT PURPOSE
External Relations Team Members build and maintain relationships with external agencies to coordinate information exchange, planning, and the provision of resources throughout the disaster cycle. These partnerships with government, voluntary agencies, faith-based organizations, labor unions, and businesses help increase the Red Cross’ ability to meet the disaster-related needs of our clients and affected communities.
