National Brain Tumor Society is looking for SAG/Road Crew for our upcoming Boston Brain Tumor Ride
Volunteers are essential to the Brain Tumor Ride! Thank you for your dedication to the brain tumor cause. Training is provided when you arrive.
SAG/Road Crew Sunday, May 15, 2016 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The support vehicles are vital to the safety and success of our ride. Road Crew members provide support for the riders along routes. Drivers must have valid Drivers License and be over 18 years old. Drivers need to be helpful, patient, able to follow maps, and comfortable stopping safely along the roadside. Drivers may transport riders and their bicycle to a rest stop. Ability to change bike flat tires is a bonus. Drivers may have a ham radio operator riding along with them, and will also need to be able to carry an additional passenger. Drivers will use their own vehicles, which could be a van, pick-up, SUV, or car with a bike rack.
