Volunteers are needed to do arts and crafts with children during Spring Break. Come help color, fly a kite, read a story or teach a class. We need you. Join us in the fun and make a child smile! Fair Park will be offering free Spring Break activities during the week of March 9-13, 2015 from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Volunteer one day or everyday, for an hour or all day. We can use the help!

TheDallas Park and Recreation Department volunteer manual was developed as a reference and supplement to staff training on volunteer management.
Volunteers are one of our most valuable resources. It is through their commitment and efforts that the Dallas Park and Recreation Department can provide more diverse and higher quality services and programs to the citizens of Dallas. In order to maintain this important human resource, effective management is the key.
