Muscular Dystrophy Association of Iowa is holding their annual MDA Muscle Walk in Iowa City, IA and is looking for volunteers to take photos. Needed is a photographer to take posed team photos as well as photographers to take candid shots. We ask volunteers be able to provide their own equipment. We also ask a release be signed for photos to be posted on the MDA of Iowa Facebook page, shared with event participants, and used on future promotional materials. Flash drive provided for photos to be shared with MDA within a week after the event.

The largest, most inspiring event of its kind, MDA Muscle Walk brings communities together--donors, families, partners, sponsors and volunteers--to fight back against muscle disease.

Through MDA Muscle Walk, the community joins forces to raise critical dollars that will make a real difference in the lives of people fighting life-threatening muscle disease in your community and across the nation. Funds raised through the Muscle Walk program build on decades of research progress, helping push science to its limits in the search for treatments and cures. The dollars we raise through Muscle Walk support MDA’s life-enhancing programs, including state-of-the-art clinics and support groups. They also make MDA summer camp possible, so kids with muscle disease can enjoy "the best week of the year."
