Child Starts Annual Growing with Children Conference brings in almost 300 licensed child care providers each year. The conference provides a day of training offered with a variety of educational child care topics. In return for attending child care professionals are able to receive up to 6 inservice training hours towards their license.
*Registration(07:00 AM to 09:00 AM or later)- Check-in conference attendees, direct attendees to the walk- in table, etc.
*Presenter Runners(all day 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM)- Assist presenters to their assigned rooms, and help with anything needed by the room host. Although we need these specific volunteers the entire day, it does come with breaks in between sessions, and a catered lunch from Hog Wild BBQ.
*Directions(06:30 AM to 10:00 AM or 11:00 AM to 02:00 PM)- Direct attendees to their designated rooms, state when sessions are getting ready to began after breaks, etc.
*Lunch(11AM to 01:45 PM)- Help pass out food, refill tea and water pitchers, help with the different food stations, and help with set up.
