The Communications & Media Intern will work with our executive team and will be responsible for assisting with Bridget’s Dream media relations, external communications, and new media campaigns.

Bridget's Dream is a survivor-led organization that provides comprehensivve services to young ladies who have been commercially sexually exploited, while bringing awareness to the community, and advocating for systematic change.

Description

Bridget’s Dream is a survivor-led anti-trafficking organization that provides research-based trauma recovery services to female victims of sex trafficking (ages 11-25) and their families within Sacramento, California, and the surrounding region. This faith-influenced organization envisions a world where communities are protected from human trafficking and survivors are empowered to live to their fullest potential and they learn to dream again.

Bridget’s Dream is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in honor of Bridget Gray, a young woman who lost her life to the violent epidemic of child sex-trafficking. The entire team at Bridget’s Dream is fiercely committed to preventing others from experiencing the same tragedy. They fulfill this commitment through advocacy, awareness and education activities, along with prevention services for at-risk youth.
