A Job Skills Workshop is a workshop that helps youth understand employer expectations and what it takes to get an entry-level job. The curriculum includes resume building, cover letters, interview skills, workplace etiquette and reviews next steps in the preparation for the Work Readiness Certification Session.
You will help by doing a mock interview for youth who are applying for a Law internship. What's great about our program is that this give you an opportunity to provide feedback in a safe and friendly place to get them ready for their interview. You will spend 20-30 minutes with each student, mentor them, and instill a little bit of self-confidence.
