Long Term Care Ombudsman Program of NE Indiana needs volunteers to help advocate for our residents in area long term care facilities.
Volunteer Ombudsmen will visit assigned facility and serve as the "eyes and ears" reporting to area Ombudsman concerns as well as be a friendly face and compassionate listener to many of our residents in long term care. Our volunteers also help to spread the word to residents and their families about our program thru visitations at their assigned facility as well as participation in community events.
- Community Outreach & PJ Drive - meet 9am at Innovation Center (Cole Conference entrance)
- Fund Raising & Volunteer Recruitment - meet 10am at Innovation Center (Cole Conference entrance)
- Scheduled meeting dates are: Mondays- Sept. 29, Oct 13, Oct 27, Nov 10, Nov 24 & dec 8
