FAQ
Do we have to do each month?
No. If your group is enthusiastic that way, then sure! But we appreciate one month just the same!
Can we pick the item?
Well.....if we coordinate months and items, then yes. While we do have a list of needs which helps us logistically, if your group is set on a certain item, let’s talk and coordinate. We can work it out!
Is there a certain number of items we must collect?
Preferably more than 1! But seriously, we don’t have a set number. We appreciate all contributions. And we base our requests on the nonperishable items we use the most, so we can never have too much. Anything extra will simply help us offset the need to buy in the future, freeing up our budget for other service needs.
Can you pick the items up?
Unfortunately, the House keeps us busy enough that it is hard for us to leave. We know you are busy, too, so you can bring the items anytime and drop them off.....or we are happy to share a cup of Joe with you if have the time. Either way, we will always help you to unload!
Can we get items donated in bulk from a store?
Yes siree! If you have a connection, that is great. We are happy to provide a donation receipt to any organization that donates to the House should they ask you for one.
