ROX IN SOX is an exciting spring event celebrating children’s music and literature at Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza on April 11, 2015 in Lorenzi Park. In 2014, 1848 people attended Rox in Sox, and we collected and delivered 2457 pairs of socks, 1234 books and 169 pairs of shoes for kids who need them. We are looking for Volunteers to collect and donate socks, books, and shoes pre-event for Las Vegas kids in need and deliver them to us at the event. We are also looking for volunteers to work parking, crowd control and receive/catolouge donated items at the gate. This free event features performances by some of the country’s leading children’s musicians and authors as well as local entertainers and TV personalities. There will be plenty of fun activities for kids and families to enjoy together, great food and local arts organizations too!
