Under the supervision of the Event Coordinator, assist in organizing the various activities that are required to enable the event to take place in an efficient, well organized and friendly manner.
Essential Functions May Include:
- Assist with getting supplies, set up, registration, coordination and clean up.
- Assist in managing the flow of the event.
- Promote the event to participants and non-participants.
- Assist in directing participants in the activities.
- Handle paperwork and fees, as requested.
- Identify any issues that need to be resolved or corrected and notify the Event Coordinator.
- Introduce yourself and provide helpful advice or encouragement to participants.
- Act to maintain the safety of the participants, as necessary.
- Help with other duties, as requested.

**All Volunteers MUST have a background check before they are allowed to work around children. The Raritan Bay Area YMCA offers Background Checks at no cost to the volunteer. Results must be received before volunteer service on site is allowed.
