PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Be a key part of delivering the American Red Cross’s National Home Fire Preparedness Campaign (HFPC) within North Jersey Region (NJR) by educating NJ residents about the importance of Fire Safety in the home focusing specially on Smoke Alarm Installation and the importance of maintaining a working alarm, making a Home Fire Escape Plan and engaging with our youth about Fire Safety in the home. The Campaign aims to reduce death or injury in the fires by 25 over 5 years across the nation.
OPEN TIME DAYS
4-6 hours per event
-Home Fire Preparedness Campaign (HFPC) overview
-Smoke Alarm Installation Training (as required)
-Fire Safety (and Smoke) Trailer Presenter Training -optional
-Fire Safety Trailer towing driver - optional
-Admin support - manning the Home Fire Campaign Action Desk located in our｠ Fairfield office to support event leaders in building and planning event
