One week-long,｠on-call shift every two months
Attend regular meeting and training sessions
REQUIRED TRAININGTraining:
Approximately 15 hours of training required within first year of volunteering, including the following courses:
- Emergency Services Core Curriculum: Disaster Services: An Overview, Disaster Action Team Fundamentals, and Disaster Action Team Job Induction
- Introduction to Disaster Mental Health
- Disaster Mental Health Fundamentals
- Psychological First Aid
- Staff Wellness Fundamentals
