Teen Volunteer Organization Seeking Members Interested in Giving Back to the Community
Are you looking for a way to earn volunteer hours, gain leadership experience and make lifelong friendships along the way?
Assisteens of Saddleback Valley is a group of girls who give back to their local community by volunteering with children, the elderly and those less fortunate. The non-profit chapter offers members opportunities for leadership and self-development. Our teen members are community service driven but love to have FUN in the process! We are seeking current sixth graders for our 2015 -2016 year of membership, beginning in June. We have limited availability in other grade levels. Assisteens of Saddleback Valley is a nonprofit volunteer organization of young people that puts caring and commitment into action by providing services to children, families and the elderly.
Description
Teen members meet monthly at self-governed meetings. Members engage in philanthropic service to our community while creating lifelong friendships. Philanthropic programs include working with children at a local soup kitchen, serving Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors, playing games with assisted-living seniors, shopping with disadvantaged youth for school clothing and more!
