Do you love to read, love waiting for the next twist in the story? Who did it, how will it end, all the adventure that books can bring? So do people with disabilities. Our Apple Valley center has a small group of adults that would love to have a volunteer read to them and then lead a discussion once a week at the Dakota County Apple Valley library. One morning a week, Monday through Friday, we can meet you there, we have a room reserved waiting for a volunteer. One of our staff will always be with you. Lfeworks Services is a private nonprofit organization serving people with disabilities and their families in the Minneapolis, St. Paul, Mankato and Hastings areas. It was founded in 1965 by families of children with special needs.
