Join Cincinnati Youth Collaborative and AmeriCorps in a collaborative community project to beautify a local neighborhood in need.
Lower Price Hill is a tight-knit neighborhood that has undergone several revitalization projects in past years. The focus of this event will be to engage community members and students at Oyler School (K-12), in an attempt to create a sustainable, ongoing enhancement project that will teach younger generations the benefits behind taking care of the land around them.
We aim to couple landscaping, neighborhood clean-up and the renovation of areas near State Avenue, with educating students, parents, and school faculty on the best ways to promote healthy community living by incorporating new environmental ideas into everyday life. From neighborhood clean-up to building beautification, there will be something for everyone.
We hope that with help from the private business sector, the charitable efforts of CYC, and you, we’ll be able to show future generations the importance of service and giving back to your community.
