We offer the Train the Trainer sessions to provide you with curriculum and a through understanding of our LA Youth at Work services. Training covers the enrollment process for young adults, volunteers and potentially you, the host site! It also covers both job skills workshops and Work readiness certification, explainig how the two connect and support each other. Jobs skills workshops review resume writing, interviewing techniques, and self-assesment, while work readiness certifications prepare participants by mimicking a real interview.

Description
Founded in 1998 as a nonprofit organization, UNITE-LA has a strategic partnership with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce. Through this and other partnerships, UNITE-LA is able to advance its mission of empowering youth to succeed in the 21st century global economy. UNITE-LA oversees several signature education and workforce development initiatives, including: L.A. Cash for College, the L.A. Compact, the L.A. Regional STEM Hub, L.A. Youth at Work, and Principal for a Day.
