Description
Janus Institute For Justice is a nonprofit organization committed to environmental and social injustice. We are a certifying organization under the President's Volunteer Service Award.
At Janus, we understand that no individual or organization can cure all the environmental problems or social disparities in today's world. But each of us, working together, can have a positive and significant impact on the lives of people in our community and beyond.
In 2014, Janus Institute For Justice launched its first three Project Initiatives: The Common C.E.N.T. Home Weatherization Program, the Arkansas School to Prison Pipeline Initiative (AR S.T.O.P.P.), and the Arkansas Girls to Women L.E.A.D (Learn, Educate, Achieve & Develop) Initiative Each Initiative houses three to four programs aimed at specific structural, legal, and social obstacles that challenge and stymie the working poor, middle class, women, and minorities.
Janus Institute For Justice partners with individuals and organizations who share our core values and are willing to work side by side with us to achieve a common goals.
The time and skills our volunteers donate is essential to the success of our organization and invaluable to the communities we serve. We are always in need of eager, innovative and responsible individuals. We seek volunteers who know that a better future is possible and are not interested in waiting for someone else to build that future. Join us!
