We are seeking compassionate volunteers that would like to help a nonprofit organization serving young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Example volunteer opportunities:

Painting

    • Episodically paint in the gym with our youth, the Art Association, and our Art Therapist; i.e., canvas, water color, etc...

      Christmas

    • Take a name from our tree and purchase Christmas for our youth

    • Donate wrapping paper, bows, name tags, tape, ribbon, etc...

    • Help wrap Christmas gifts and organize appropriately

    • Provide monetary donations

      Spring Musical

    • Help conceptualize and/or create/find costumes or props for our musical

    • Help with set-up and clean-up

    • Promotion of the event

      Gardening/Landscaping

    • Utilize your green thumb and help plant flower gardens, weed them, water them on weekends, etc...

    • Help clean-up our nature trail by donating or making bird houses, mulching, raking, weeding, etc...

    • Donate plants, flowers, pots, soil, mulch, stones, rock, etc...

      Prom

    • Create decorations and centerpieces

    • Help with set-up and clean up

    • Provide or help find donations; i.e., tables, chairs, linens, photographer, DJ, food, dresses, tuxes, shoes, accessories, etc...

      Special Events; i.e., Valentine’s party or dance, St. Patrick’s Day party, Halloween party, etc...

    • Create decorations

    • Run games, concessions, prize table, etc...

    • Provide specialized skills/donations; i.e., face painting, balloon making, music, food, costumes, decorations, etc...

    • Help with set-up and clean up

      Fall Fest

    • Create decorations

    • Run games, concessions, prize table, etc...

    • Provide or help find donations; i.e., face painting, lighting, music (DJ or live music), food, decorations, etc...

    • Help with set-up and clean-up

    • Promotion of the event

    • Adopt a Home or Classroom

      • You can choose to "adopt" a home or classroom and purchase items for them; i.e., bed comforters, sensory toys, board games, sheets, pull-ups, books, DVDs, gift cards for outings, clothing, socks, underwear, shoes, therapy balls, etc... We will include a brief overview of each young person’s unique interests and special story
