St Jude's Ranch for Children is looking for volunteers to sew an assortment of weighted blankets to assist our children affected by abuse to regulate their needs by providing comforting pressure.
Our goal is to provide a weighted blanket to each child that they can keep, no matter where they live. We have a constant need to build our stock. Your support will ensure that we can serve any child that needs a weighted blanket.
We ask that volunteers have basic sewing knowledge and skills and live in the San Antonio area to coordinate supply and blanket delivery.

Description
Our Organization is a foster care facility. Children are placed in our care because they have been abused and neglected. At ur campuses, we want to provide the best home life that our kids can recieve in a foster home setting. All of kids participate in regular activities such as band, football, and chior. Our Kids have to be enrolled in school. Also, if they are old enough to have jobs than that is encouraged as well. We want our kids to be as successful as possible.
