Mistletoe State Park offers K-5 field trips throughout the school year from 9am until 12:00pm. Each grade-level has different activities, but all the programs focus on environmental education. No previous experience required. In the fall of 2015, Mistletoe hosted 865 students at 39 different programs! There is plenty of opportunity for those looking get involved.

Our mission is simple. We partner with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, local community and business leaders and community volunteers to promote, support, improve and preserve Mistletoe State Park.
Description
Friends of Mistletoe State Park, a chapter of Friends of Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, is a group of local volunteers who work to support Mistletoe State Park in numerous ways. Our volunteers often help out with special events, improvement projects and maintenance tasks at the park. Through partnerships with local business and community leaders, we help fund site improvements, maintenance needs and interpretive programming.
