As one of the first contacts with the public, the Entrance Cottage Attendant & the Visitor Center volunteer welcomes the guest with a smile asking how they can be of help.
Volunteering at Historic Spanish Point will make you will feel valued every day while enjoying the camaraderie of our close-knit volunteer family.
Volunteers at Historic Spanish Point recharge while working at our beautiful 30-acre outdoor museum.
Our volunteers love interacting with people of all ages for programs, special events, and day-to-day museum activities.

Mission Statement
Historic Spanish Point is a 30 acre environmental, archaeological and historic site owned and operated by Gulf Coast Heritage Association, Inc. Our mission is to connect people of today with 5,000 years of human history in southwest coastal Florida by preserving and interpreting objects and traditions significant to our region's past. As a National Register historic site and accredited museum, Historic Spanish Point features nature trails, historic buildings, beautiful gardens and scenic views of Little Sarasota Bay. The museum is open daily.
