We need volunteers to help us run the Rainbow Run! http://www.rainbow-run.com/
The Rainbow Run is a 5k run/walk for acceptance and diversity. The run will weave through the streets of downtown Ferndale the morning of the Ferndale Pride Market Days.
As participants pass six different stations along the course, volunteers will throw a different colored non-toxic powdered paint at their shirts. By the end of the race, their t-shirts will be decorated with all six colors providing a colorful reminder of the event.

Race-Day Registration
Register entrants and distribute shirts and numbers

Course Monitors
Help keep the runners on course and safe

Finish Line
Direct runners as they cross the finish line

Description
The Ferndale Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit member-driven organization with a membership base of nearly 300 businesses ranging from sole proprietorships to the local offices of Fortune 500 companies, both from within Ferndale and from surrounding communities, such as, Oak Park and Pleasant Ridge.
For the past several years, our area has faced economic uncertaintly. Members of the Ferndale Area Chamber are provided with the tools to take on this challenge as they do all others -- with determination, directed energy, strategic focus, confidence and, above all, support for one another. The Chamber helps you stay the course and leverage your assets.
