We are looking for committed ladies and gentlemen (ages 18-over) to pledge our fraternal organization and become part of the inaugural New Jersey Chapter - Nu Delta Gamma (NDG). We are a new organization with the home chapter being in Rahway, New Jersey. Most of our activities currently happen in New York City, but once NDG is up and running, more activities will be Jersey focused. Most of what we do will be "virtual", but once the weather gets warmer, we will meet quarterly to do service projects and fellowship socially. The pledge process is really a "seven week" online information session - so having a Facebook page (you can create one just for this opportunity) and an email address that you check frequently is mandatory! During this seven week process, you will learn about our organization; will help us with virtual service projects and will begin to think about what the Jersey chapter will be doing in service to its state in the short and long term. We will also be planning a fraternity fundraiser, a charity basketball game that will hopefully happen in the Fall, 2015 and Conclave Weekend (which will happen MLK weekend 2016 in New Jersey). This weekend will include a step show, dinner/dance, workshops and our annual business meeting. Until NDG gets up and running, you can travel to our NY Chapter (Brooklyn) to participate in their hip-hop dance team and their step team. They are trying to get up a basketball team as well. Dues ($25) for our Jersey Chapter will be WAIVED for the first two years of membership because we want you to make sure that you can be committed to our organization. Teenagers do not pay dues and their participation can be used for community service hours. We only accept a minimum number of teens per year (5).
