Montvale is a 364 acre historic property dating back to a hotel founded in 1830. From 1940 to 2005 Montvale was a YMCA summer camp. Harmony took over the property in 2011. We use it to do equine therapy and weekend therapeutic camps for families who adopt children from DCS state custody. When we are not using it, we rent it to the community in order to fund renovations and operating expenses. A large feature of the property is an extensive trail system - however these had not been maintained in many years. Please join us on these upcoming work days.

Description
Since our founding in 1996, Harmony's focus has been finding forever famlies for children, domestically, internationally, and through the foster care system. Our work with families often begins at placement and continues through the adoption journey. Harmony has developed an array of award-winning family preservation and treatment services designed to increase the strength and well-being of Tennessee families, serving over 2,000 children and families every year.
We offer family recruitment services, individual and family therapy, and with Camp Montvale, now offer Equine Therapy and Intensive Weekend Family retreats.
