Come pitch in at Good Shepherd Hospice!
Spend sometime socializing with a patient near your home, or make them a lunch, or run an errand.
Come to our brand new office at the near hwy 75 & hwy 635, north Dallas and make copies, file paperwork, answer the phones, etc.
Or sign up to help with a special project to work with veterans, birthday committee, sew a memory bear, help recruit other volunteers, etc.
There is ALWAYS a way we could use your help. Your hands will be put to good use in the care of those at the end of their lives and their families.

Description
Hospice is a comprehensive care program for patient's and famlies which emphasizes quality of life and is most effective during the final 6 months of life expectancy.
Hospice is a care system based upon the right of people to know accurately and honestly what is happening to them so they can spend the precious remaining time in the most purposeful and meaningful way consistent with they values and concerns.
