Sign up to volunteer with Alliance San Diego! We are a community empowerment organization that works to create a San Diego where everybody can achieve their full potential. Below is a list of some of our volunteer opportunities.
Immigrant Integration Volunteers: Assist our immigrant communities in applying for citizenship and legal status at our naturalization and DACA workshops under the supervision of an immigration attorney.
Civic Engagement Volunteers: Be part of our street team and engage with our communities on important issues that affect us all. We pass on valuable information to empower people to make change in their communities. Each year we mobilize thousands of community members to participate in our democracy.
Office Volunteers: Put your skills to good use and learn new ones by becoming a regular office volunteer to help us make sure our programs are running smoothly.
Event Volunteers: Participate in events such as the Martin Luther King Day All Peoples Celebration. We need volunteers for set-up and clean-up, guest registration, and ushering guests to make sure events run smoothly.
Communications Volunteers: Help update our social media pages to keep our communities engaged with our work.
We have many other ways to get involved. To sign up or if you have any questions, feel free to contact our Volunteer & Event Organizer, Eddie at Eddie@alliancesd.org.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to empower San Diego's diverse people and organizations to engage more effectively in our communities and in the civic process.
Description
Alliance San Diego is a community empowerment organization that builds coalitions to promote justice and social change. In the past year we have helped hundreds of community members gain temporary legal status through the Dreamer Assistance Network. We also assisted thousands of San Diegans to become citizens through the San Diego Naturalization Collaborative. During election season we mobilize tens of thousands to vote and participate in our democracy.
Some of our ongoing projects include:
Developing local school policies to ensure all students are prepared for the 21st century.
Reforming our state tax policies to reinvest in education and other public infrastructure.
Changing national border policies to increase oversight and accountability of border agents.
