Allies Linked for the Prevention of HIV and AIDS is now searching for volunteers who are trained and/or have had experience in various types of IT support. Its a sad fact, but there are people out there who need our help who we simply aren't reaching because our budget - now more than ever - won't allow us to hire or pay for the support we need.
It's so important for us to stay up to date with the technology initiatives necessary to help as many people as we possibly can. If you - or someone you know - have knowledge or experience in network administration, social media marketing, web design, VoIP, etc. we would appreciate it so much.
We at ALPHA have absolutely no doubt that it is because of our volunteers why we remain the largest HIV/AIDS community-based organization in the state of Idaho.
Please contact Jared regarding the details of what exactly we need, at 208-424-7799 ext. 102. Thank you so much!

Description
Allies Linked for the Prevention HIV and AIDS (ALPHA) is a community based non-profit organization that has been providing HIV related services to the Treasure Valley and Southern Idaho since 2003. Alpha is the largest community based HIV testing program in the State of Idaho, providing around 1,000 free and confidential rapid HIV tests a year as well as rapid hepatitis C testing and conventional testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. In addition to testing, alpha distributes approximately 50,000 condoms each year, is home to the MPowerment BOI project and the Desert Pause Retreat, and provides supportive services to people living with or affected by HIV and AIDS through the alpha Choice Food Pantry and the Linkage and Retention in Care program. Allies Linked for the Prevention of HIV and AIDS also provides educational opportunities on-site and in the community on topics such as HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, harm reduction, overdose prevention, stigma, and many others as well as advocates for the modernization of HIV laws and an end to discrimination of people living with HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ people, people who use drugs, and anyone at risk of acquiring HIV.
