Every Thursday evening in April March of the Blanketeers will hold a Thursday Evening calling party where volunteers will call local businesses seeking permission to send them info on March of the Blanketeers. Volunteers will use their own phone. Also neede; people to stuff envelopes. If we get the same team each week, people will rotate between phone, cataloguing, and stuffing envelopes. The aim is not to fundraise over the phone but to give some information out about March of the Blanketeers to local business owners right in Saint James and get permission to send information through the mail. They're will be a carefully worded script that everyone will be provided with. Even if you are not commuicating directly, you still must know the basics of what needs to be said. A pre-made fillable list of businesses will be given to people communicating. We prefer that communicating volunteers are 16 and over to keep a professional atmosphere. Envelope Stuffers can be any age.

This is an Awesome way to gain community service hours for school, work or other purposes. However, it is not limited to only people who need community service.
