Position Title: Administrative Assistant
Department:
Pathways (Transitional Housing)
Location: 1055 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 1955, Los Angeles
Commitment: minimum 6-8 hours a week, M-F between 9 am and 5 pm
Position Available: Immediately

Position Description and Duties: The Admin Assistant will help with data entry and special projects for the Life Skills Program, including filing and organizing packets for events. We are seeking an individual who is comfortable working with computers and learning a new database system. This volunteer will report to the Life Skills Coordinator.

Skills and Qualities:
Volunteers must be reliable and computer savvy. Must be able to follow instructions, and able to work with confidential information and sensitive situations.

Volunteer Process:Volunteers are recruited for open positions until the positions are filled. They are selected based on their skills, commitment and availability. Prior to beginning service, volunteers are required to attend an orientation, get fingerprinted, and pass a background check. UFC is seeking to build a meaningful, long-term relationship with its volunteer community and is looking for volunteers eager to connect with our organization’s mission and youth. Please note: it may take up to three weeks to be processed after attending an orientation.
