Desert Oasis Hospice is seeking volunteers. Our volunteer program provides an invaluable service to patients and families facing the challenges of life limiting illness and loss. Please join us in fulfilling our mission of bringing comfort and an enhanced quality of life to those who seek our services. Hospice volunteers experience a deep sense of personal gratification from the service they provide. All volunteers are screened (background check, T.B. test, drug test). Description
Desert Oasis Hospice cares for individuals with a life expectancy of six months or less due to a terminal illness or disease.
We provide nursing and physician care, therapists, medical social service, pastoral and bereavement care, symptom management, pain relief, medical supplies, short term and respite care.
