Think you have what it takes? Become a Youth Volleyball Coach! Raleigh Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department is looking for individuals interested in being a volunteer Youth Volleyball Coach for the upcoming spring season. Anyone that is interested in this opportunity and in making a difference in our participants’ lives now is your chance! Time commitment is two days a week. Practices will begin in March and games will begin in April and run through end of May. Volunteers are needed to coach this girl's league, ages 8-10, and ages 11-14 at Optimist Community Center. The season starts in mid March and runs through the end of May. You must be at least 18 years old to volunteer and complete a coaching application and background check. The assessment clinic will take place on March 16 at 5pm. Per department policies, this volunteer opportunity is not to be used towards court-appointed community service hours.
