If you enjoy working in a friendly environment and want to help save lives, the American Red Cross needs you!. Greet and serve refreshments to donors at the Winchester Blood Donation Center. The center is open every Tuesday, 1:00pm - 7:00pm (volunteer shifts are 1:00pm - 4:00pm and 4:00pm - 7:00pm) and every Thursday, 12:00pm - 6:00pm (volunteer shifts are 12:00pm - 3:00pm and 3:00pm to 6:00pm).

Description
The American Red Cross was founded over 100 years ago by Clara Barton with the purpose of relieving human suffering. Today the nonprofit organization relies on the support of volunteer staff, who outnumber paid staff 94 to 1, to continue its humanitarian work. Saving lives by providing safe blood products to hospitals is just one of the many ways in which the Red Cross continues to meet the needs of the community.
