Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo is looking for 15 to 20 volunteers who are interested in assisting the zoo with the breakdown process of Christmas in the Wild. This volunteer opportunity will take place on the evenings of January 2nd, 3rd, and 4th from 4pm to 8pm. Check will be at 3:50pm at the Zoo's front gate.
Volunteers will work closely with zoo staff to properly take down and wrap Christmas lights, relocate and store props, dispose of old props, etc. The zoo will provide a pizza dinner and drinks for those who volunteer for this project.
These positions are limited. Once you sign up for a position be sure that you are available for the entire shift. CLOSED-TOED shoes are required, shorts are permitted but MUST be FINGERTIP in length, no tank tops are allowed. All volunteers will be contacted the week prior to the project date with further details about the opportunity.
