PURPOSE OF JOB: Support day-of execution of concerts by assisting staff with box office functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Greet guests as they arrive at the concert box office. Direct guests to the appropriate lines (purchase tickets, Will Call, garden entrance, etc.). Assist guests with Will Call requests by confirming the identity of the guest, locating his/her tickets, and securing a signature. Resolve Will Call issues with assistance of Box Office staff. Remind guests of items that are not permitted in the Concert Amphitheater.

The physical demands of this position include the ability to stand for the duration of the shift; use fingers to finger, handle, or feel, talk or hear; and lift up to 10 pounds. This position will be stationed indoors, onsite at Hudson Gardens. This position is not within sight distance of the concert stage.

Required attire is black capris or shorts and white shirt with sleeves. Please bring a water bottle.

Shifts are available on the following dates (all 2015): May 31, June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28, July 3, July 4, July12, July 19, July 26, August 2, August 8, August 9, August 15, August 16, August 23, August 30. Shifts last from 4 PM - 6:30 PM. Prospective volunteers may volunteer for one or more shifts.

The Hudson Gardens & Event Center is a regional display garden, showcasing plants that grow well in Colorado’s Front Range climate. Our thirty acres of gardens are designed to educate and inform our guests by providing diverse opportunities to gain knowledge about plants, gardening, wildlife, and environmental stewardship. Hudson Gardens is also a multipurpose recreational facility featuring educational displays and programs, cultural and community events, and venues for private social and corporate gatherings. Since 2012, Hudson Gardens has offered free general admission to the community.
