Licensed therapists, train to be a Toby Center therapeutic visitation monitors.

This is increasingly a specialty and our training will help you provide effective work in cases as a family therapist, and be trained to help with child custody issues! Much of our work has become specialized and requires therapeutic visitation. Family Therapists with child and parent reunification experience preferred.

Train to provide therapeutic supervised visitation for a family agency with locations throughout South and Central Florida. Your function is to assist a parent and children to rebuild, and strengthen their relationship during a court ordered period of monitored interaction. Classroom training is required before field training with actual families. Six hours of field training will follow as clients are referred to the Toby Center.

The Toby Center goals are to help parents during an emotionally difficult period and assist them through comfort, confidence and trust into a more normalized dynamic post separation and divorce. You will learn to assist foster children fearful of reunification. You'll be helping parents and children with appropriate behaviors and communication, and also how to document appropriately for court and agency needs.

You will be assigned a client family, learn how to engage a reluctant child with a fearful parent, a fearful child with a selfconscious parent, and more.

You will be responsible for documentation, and understand the nuances of restraining orders and domestic violence issues.

We are excited about our expansion throughout Florida! Please join us! Families are increasingly in need of these and related services!
