We are in need of adult volunteers (18 and older) who would be willing to donate several hours to help us collect materials donated by exhibitors following The LMC Show, a builders show at the SANDS EXPO AND CONVENTION CENTER. Materials are then sold in the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, with all proceeds supporting Habitat for Humanity of Las Vegas's programs. Volunteers will be asked to stack materials on pallets or to assist in other aspects of material collection. Habitat for Humanity Las Vegas revitalizes and stabilizes neighborhoods in our community that cannot support private development. Sponsors, donors, volunteers and families work together to build homes, settle families and grow a community of neighbors.
The Habitat ReStore generates operating revenue by salvaging, recycling and sourcing overstock building materials and selling them to the public at highly discounted prices. It also provides training and employment opportunities.
